15 Taliban insurgents were killed and wounded as a result of airstrikes by the security forces in Bala Boluk district of Farah province.
“6 members of Taliban were killed and 9 others wounded as a result of an air raid on a Taliban gathering place by the security forces,” Norulhaq Khaliqi, Farah army spokesman told (DID) press agency.
“The attack has been conducted in the areas of Pulchak Pancharmaini and new Shiwa camp –where Taliban assemble there – related to Bala Boluk district of Farah province,” he added.
“82 Taliban gathering places have been completely destroyed as a result of launching a mortar mill,” according to Khaliqi.
Bala Boluk district of Farah province is counted as the most insecure districts of the province that have always been a battleground between the security forces and Taliban group.
