6 MoUs Signed Between Afghanistan, UAE

On Sunday, president M. Ashraf Ghani left Kabul for Abu Dhabi at the head of a high-level delegation on an official visit.
During the meeting, both sides discussed expanding trade, development and economic relations.

According to the statement, Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum described establishing an air corridor between Afghanistan and UAE as a good initiative, saying that Dubai markets are open to Afghan products and the ground for trade has been provided.

Besides thanking UAE’s hospitality, president Ghani said Afghan products exports will increase through air corridor to Abu Dhabi.

Afghanistan, UAE signed six memoranda of understandings
Afghanistan and UAE signed 6 MoUs in the fields of energy, mine, education, sports, culture, and agriculture.

President Ashraf Ghani also visited the UAE founder’s memorial as part of his official visit to the UAE.
President Ghani was accompanied by Eissa Salem Al Dhaheri, UAE Ambassador to Afghanistan.
Dr. Yousef Al Obaidli, Director General of the memorial, also accompanied the President and his delegation on the tour.
