7 Killed in Kabul Multiple Blasts: officials

As a result of back-to-back explosions in capital Kabul on Thursday morning, 7 people, including 5 women and one child were killed and 21 others were wounded, according to officials.

According to security officials, a suicide attacker targeted a bus carrying the employees of Ministry of Mines and Petroleum in PD-16 of Kabul city around 8:00 am, which killed 5 people and wounded 10 more.

Nasrat Rahimi, a spokesman for the Ministry of Interior said the second blast also took place in PD-16, and a third explosion happened in Pul-e Charkhi area of Kabul city.
According to him, no reports of casualties about the third explosion yet.
The Ministry of Public Health’s spokesman Wahidullah Mayar said that “7 people have been martyred (killed) and 21 more have been wounded in today’s explosions in Kabul.
All the wounded people have been receiving the required treatments.

Meanwhile, reports suggest that at least 7 people were killed and 4 others were wounded in a roadside bomb blast in eastern Nangarhar province.
“At least seven people, including six women and a child, were killed and four others wounded in a roadside bomb blast in Khogyani district of Nangarhar province,” the provincial governor’s spokesman Attaullah Khogyani told reporters.
