The Chief Executive of Jamiat-e Islami party Ata M. Noor said in a statement that he did not support any candidate for specific reasons, but our fans can vote to anyone they wanted.

The Chief Executive of Jamiat-e Islami party Ata M. Noor said in a statement that he did not support any candidate for specific reasons, but our fans can vote to anyone they wanted.

“Election as a national and democratic process is a principle, but every citizen of Afghanistan has the right to approve or reject it,” Ata M. Noor wrote in his official Facebook page on Wednesday.
“The current situation in the country has problems that need to be addressed,” he added.

The chief executive of the Jamiat-e Islami party further said that every citizen of the country has the right to choose any of the presidential candidates.
“Although I did not back up any presidential candidate for certain reasons. With respect to all presidential candidates, who are respected figures and with regards to the shortcomings of the past five years, our friends and fans can vote to any candidate. Choose someone who can guarantee your future and destiny and defend your vote. But the beaten road is the safest,” said Mr Noor.
