Daesh to Darzab Residents: Go and Leave the Doors Open

Daesh terror group took the control of Jawzjan’s Darzab district, forcing the residents to abandon their homes.
Residents of Mughul and Awlad villages of the district who are now in Sheberghan city said Daesh (ISIL) terror group forced them to leave their homes and warned they will be killed if coming back.

According to displaced people, Daesh group told them to go and leave the doors of their houses open.
A number of civilians have been killed and wounded due to arguing with Daesh fighters, but the group’s fighters do not allow to transfer the corpses and injuries.

Daesh fighters may use the houses as strongholds.
Meanwhile, Amanullah, the acting head of Darzab police command said: “400 families have been displaced so far.”
The acting commander of Darzab police headquarter underlined, “the situation of the displaced families is alarming and their numbers increase every day.”

This comes as a few days ago, Jawzjan’s provincial council representatives had warned the government the district would soon collapse by Daesh terror group and that the lives of the residents were at risk.

Daesh terror group is controlling many parts of Darzab and Khosh Tapa districts of Jawzjan province. Fierce clashes ongoing between the security forces and the fighters of the group in these areas.
