According to reports, foreign forces withdrawal and preventing Afghanistan from being used against other countries are the two issues being discussed between the two sides.
“Technical groups discussed foreign forces withdrawal all day yesterday & till noon hours today Talks about preventing Afghanistan from harming others is currently under discussion,” Zabihullah Mujahid, who introduces himself as Taliban spokesman wrote on Twitter. Adding that “Negotiations are continuing & meetings led by Mr. Stanekzai, head of the negotiation team”.
The peace talks in Afghanistan between Taliban and American officials begun on Monday in Doha, capital of Qatar.
