Escalating Attacks on Armed Oppositions; Decision Eventually Taken by NSC

Afghanistan National Security Council (NSC) called for escalating military attacks on the positions of anti-government armed oppositions.

Afghanistan National Security Council (NSC) called for escalating military attacks on the positions of anti-government armed oppositions.
Finally, the country’s NSC ordered military agencies to increase their attacks on the positions of anti-government armed fighters.

The decision comes as the country’s security forces sustained heavy casualties in different parts of the country and the government has lost its control over several districts.
The country’s defence and security forces have already complained about not giving them the command to attack the positions of anti-government armed forces.

Reports suggest that fresh troops and commandos were deployed to Malistan and Jaghori districts of Ghazni province, but they did not receive the command to attack.
Taliban and Daesh (ISIS) fighters have recently increased their attacks on various parts of the country and have taken many victims from the country’s security forces.
