More than 200 residential houses were destroyed as a result of flash floods in some parts of northern Samangan province, local officials said.


More than 200 residential houses were destroyed as a result of flash floods in some parts of northern Samangan province, local officials said.
On Sunday afternoon, floods in Khurram-o Sarbagh district of Samangan province have damaged agricultural lands.

“Floods in the center of Samangan and Khurram-o Sarbagh district was very dangerous, and in addition to financial losses, one person was killed and two others were injured,” Sebghatullah Sayas told reporters.
Mr Sayas emphasized that “more than 200 houses were destroyed and displaced the people.”

However, scores of people lost their lives due to flash floods in the country.
