Taliban group beheaded a young woman in northeastern Badakhshan province, provincial security officials said Monday.
“The woman was murdered on charges of having ‘illegitimate relationship’,” Sanaullah Rohani, the provincial police spokesman told media.

According to him, she was a married woman and her husband was a worker.
Mr Rohani did not confirm whether the area – incident took place – is in hand of Taliban, but said Taliban broke into the woman’s house at midnight and cut off her head.

The incident occurred in “Khosh Drem” village of Baharak district two days ago.
Baharak is among the insecure districts of northeastern Badakhshan province that Taliban had taken the control of the area before.
