The office of national security council (NSC) said in a statement that Taliban have killed 46 civilians and wounded 93 more in just one week.
“Violence has not decreased! Taliban killed 46 civilians and wounded 93 in 401 terrorist activities in just one week,” said the office of NSC in a statement on Saturday.

According to the statement, most civilian casualties by Taliban were in Helmand, Badghis and Ghor provinces.
“Peace requires commitment and will, which aren’t visible in the actions of the Taliban,” the statement emphasized.

This comes as the US state department special envoy for Afghanistan Zalmay Khalilzad said in a video conference hosted by the US Institute of Peace on Friday that the level of violence in Afghanistan has risen sharply and the United States is not satisfied with it.
