We will Destroy Terrorists’ Sanctuaries in Pakistan: Tillerson

US secretary of state Rex Tillerson in meeting with the Pakistani PM Abbasi, stressed on destroying terrorist safe havens in Pakistan’s soil, said US embassy in a statement.
According to DID news agency report, US secretary of state Rex Tillerson met with Pakistani Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and emphasized on eradicating terror groups’ safe havens in Pakistan.

Mr. Tillerson considered Islamabad’s role important in Afghan peace process, asking that country to stand beside America providing security in Afghanistan, the statement said.
US secretary of state stressed on destroying terrorist safe havens in Pakistan’s soil while Islamabad had earlier warned about any military operation on its soil.
