160 ISIS & Taliban members killed and wounded in Jowzjan
Local officials in Jowzjan say that as a result of inter-group conflict between Taliban and Daesh (ISIS) in Qush Tapa and Darzab districts of the province, 160 people from each side were killed and injured, and the battle still continues.
According to (DID) news agency report, the war has been started at 2:00, in Khak-e Shahidan, Aq-Sai and Komerli villages, according to the statement of Jowzjan governor’s press office.
As a result of the conflict 76 Taliban members including their two commanders were killed and 57 others wounded, the statement added.
15 members of ISIS group were killed and 12 others wounded in the war, according to the statement released by the press office of Jowzjan governor.
The statement said that 10 Taliban and Daesh members were captured and 45 motorbikes, 2 Ranger vehicles and lots of ammunitions of these terror groups were confiscated by the security forces.
It is said that the war still continues around Qush Tapa and Darzab districts of the province.
