No Report of Afghan Traders’ Losses at Rajaei Port – ACCI

DID Press: Following the recent fire and explosion incident at Iran’s Shahid Rajaei Port in Bandar Abbas, concerns have been raised regarding potential losses to Afghanistan traders.

Jan Agha Nawid, spokesperson for the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment (ACCI), vowed that ACCI has not yet recieved any official report regarding the losses to Afghan traders.

“This port is one of the main routes for the import and export activities of Afghanistan traders, but accurate information about possible damages is still not available,” he said, highlighting the active presence of Afghanistan traders at the port.

This comes as Sherbaz Kaminzada, head of the Afghanistan Chamber of Mines and Industries, had already raised the possibility of damages to Afghan traders.
