DIDPress: Amir Khan Muttaqi, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Interim Government of Afghanistan, expressed strong support for the Palestinian struggle and condemned Israel’s actions during a meeting with the head of Hamas’ leadership council in Doha.
Amir Khan Muttaqi, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Interim Government of Afghanistan, met with Ismail Darwish, head of the leadership council of the Hamas movement, and other members of the group in Doha, the capital of Qatar, where he announced support for the struggles of the people of Palestine.
Muttaqi condemned Israel’s attacks on Gaza during the meeting and stressed the need for unity among Muslims worldwide in support of Palestinians.
He also stated that the people of Afghanistan support the legitimate struggles of the people of Palestine and wish them success.
