DIDPress: Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has recently declared that despite Western efforts to maintain the status quo through globalization, a fairer, multipolar world order is steadily emerging.

Lavrov praised countries in the Global South for resisting Western pressure and defending their sovereignty. “A more just and multipolar world order is actively taking shape, while the West clings to the outdated model of globalization based on its own interests,” he said.
The Russian foreign minister added that countries across Asia, Africa, and Latin America are fighting against neo-colonialism and strengthening their national sovereignty. “These nations are no longer willing to submit to Western political dictates or economic pressure,” he noted.
Lavrov affirmed Russia’s support for the efforts of these countries to build a global order based on equality, mutual respect, and shared interests.
He also emphasized that rather than accepting new global realities, the West is trying to obstruct change through sanctions, political pressure, and information warfare.
