TTP killed 11 Pakistani Security Forces

DIDPress: Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) terror group has claimed responsibility for 13 attacks on security positions across various regions in Pakistan on May 24.

Following widespread attacks carried out on May 24 in different parts of Pakistan, the TTP claimed responsibility for these coordinated actions. In total, 13 simultaneous assaults targeted security forces’ positions, resulting in the death of 11 security personnel and injuring several others.

These attacks occurred after the Pakistan Army announced that it had killed 54 TTP members during an operation in North Waziristan.

According to the Pakistan Army’s Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), a group of militants’ attempts to infiltrate the border area of Hasankhel in North Waziristan were foiled on the nights of April 25, 26, and 27.

The Pakistan Army also claimed that the TTP’s activities coincided with recent accusations made by India against Islamabad, alleging that these attacks were carried out with foreign coordination.

Pakistan has consistently accused the Afghan Taliban of supporting groups like the TTP and the Baloch Liberation Army, charges that Kabul denies.
