DIDPress: Russia’s Foreign Minister, Sergey Lavrov, reiterated the West’s negative role in global stability during the Moscow Security Conference, saying that halting the advancement of Western interests is key to preserving the international order.

Lavrov also rejected the notion that Kyiv regime represents the people of Crimea and southeastern Ukraine, dismissing the idea of an inevitable great power conflict as unrealistic.
He expressed concern over NATO’s military buildup near Russia’s borders.
The Russian foreign minister announced a new round of Russia-Ukraine negotiations, emphasizing Moscow’s insistence on abolishing discriminatory laws in Ukraine.
Ukraine’s return to a neutral, non-aligned, and non-nuclear status is one of Russia’s conditions for resolving the conflict, said Lavrov.
Regarding Iran’s nuclear program, he acknowledged the complexities but expressed hope for progress.
