Revealed: British Special Forces Admit to Night-Time Atrocities in Afghanistan

DIDPress: Several British military personnel have confessed in court to committing war crimes against Afghanistan civilians, unveiling horrifying details of the UK military conduct during its deployment in Afghanistan.

Official testimonies presented at a British military court have uncovered a series of horrific crimes carried out by UK special forces, particularly during their operations in Helmand province. According to the reports, these elite units were directly involved in the killing of over 300 Afghan civilians, including children.

Soldiers revealed that many of these killings took place at night, while victims were asleep.

In some cases, British forces coldly executed civilians after detaining them, and then planted weapons beside their bodies in order to stage the scene and falsely suggest that the victims were Taliban members.

In one shocking confession, a British serviceman admitted to killing 35 civilians during a six-month deployment, describing the act had become a form of “addiction” for him.

According to the BBC, shooting unarmed civilians at times became a competition among soldiers.

This is the first time that British forces have broken their silence and publicly confessed to such systematic crimes. The revelations are expected to have serious repercussions for the UK’s international image and may intensify calls for the prosecution of those responsible for war crimes and for compensation to the victims’ families.
