Afghanistan National Football Team Begins Training Camp in Saudi Arabia

DIDPress: Afghanistan Football Federation announced that the national team, under the guidance of Italian head coach Vincenzo Alberto Annese, has started its training camp in Al-Ahsa, Saudi Arabia.

The camp aims to prepare the players for the second match of the 2027 Asian Cup qualifiers.

According to the federation’s official statement, the national team’s training sessions are being conducted under Coach Annese’s supervision and include intensive technical, tactical, and physical conditioning programs.

Afghanistan national football team is scheduled to face Syria in a crucial match less than a week—a contest that could significantly impact Afghanistan’s position in the group standings and its chances of advancing to the final stage of the competition.

The current squad features several players active in both domestic and international leagues, with regular and coordinated training sessions underway to enhance tactical cohesion among the team members.
