DIDPress: Abdullah Abdullah, former Chairman of Afghanistan’s High Council for National Reconciliation, strongly condemned the recent Israeli regime’s attack on the territory of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The former chairman described the attack as a blatant, unlawful violation that contradicts all international norms and human rights principles, emphasizing that such assaults symbolize the expansionist and terrorist policies of the Israeli regime.
Abdullah expressed his condolences to the people and government of Iran, mourning the deaths of several Iranian officials and citizens in the attack, and wished a speedy recovery for the wounded.
He also highlighted that amid ongoing diplomatic negotiations between Iran and Western countries, as well as the dire situation of the people of Gaza, this attack clearly represents Israel’s attempt to escalate the crisis and destabilize the region.
Mr. Abdullah called on international organizations, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and independent countries worldwide to break their silence and take a clear and firm stance to prevent the continuation of the Israeli regime’s criminal actions.
