Taliban Delegation Attends the 9th China–South Asia Expo
DIDPress: Continuing the interim government’s efforts in Afghanistan to strengthen economic and diplomatic ties with regional countries, a delegation from Kabul, led by Abdul Salam Hanafi, has traveled to China.

Abdul Salam Hanafi, Administrative Deputy PM of Afghanistan’s interim government, heads the delegation which includes Nooruddin Azizi, Minister of Industry and Commerce, and Sher Mohammad Abbas Stanikzai, Taliban’s Deputy Foreign Minister.
The delegation arrived in Beijing to participate in the 9th China–South Asia Expo and Cooperation Forum.
According to reports, Abdul Salam Hanafi is scheduled to deliver a speech at the event, presenting the Taliban government’s perspectives on economic matters and regional cooperation.
The primary objectives of the visit are to showcase Afghanistan’s economic potential, attract foreign investment, and expand relations with member countries of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI).
