DIDPress: Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry condemned U.S. airstrikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities, which followed attacks by the Israeli regime, saying it is “deeply concerned” over escalating tensions in the region.

“Such attacks violate all norms of international law, and Iran has the legitimate right to self-defense under the United Nations Charter,” the Ministry said in a statement.
Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry further warned that “the unprecedented escalation of tension and violence—fueled by persistent aggression against Iran—is deeply alarming. Any further deterioration will have devastating consequences for the region and beyond.”
The statement emphasized the necessity of “protecting civilian lives and property, immediately halting hostilities, and ensuring all parties adhere to international law—particularly international humanitarian law.”
Reaffirming diplomacy as the only viable solution, the ministry stressed that “dialogue and diplomatic engagement, in line with the UN Charter’s principles, remain the appropriate path to resolving regional crises.”
