DIDPress: Following the latest wave of extensive and heavy missile attacks by the Islamic Republic of Iran on the occupied territories, the ceasefire agreement between Tehran and Tel Aviv came into effect at 7:30 a.m.(Tehran Times) on Tuesday, June 24.

The ceasefire came after Iran’s armed forces heavily bombed the U.S. military base at Al-Udeid in Qatar last night, inflicting—according to Iranian officials—significant damage. The large-scale attack (Monday, June 23) on one of America’s most critical military bases in the region prompted U.S. President Donald Trump to request Iran halt hostilities.
Following Iran’s devastating strikes last night on the U.S. base in Qatar,Trump announced that a ceasefire agreement between Iran and Israel had been implemented.
Observers believe Trump’s insistence on ending the war as soon as possible indicates a dire situation in the occupied territories. Iran’s retaliatory attacks against Israel, which exposed the failure of the U.S.-backed Israeli air defense systems, have seriously threatened Israel’s existence.
Iran’s state broadcaster announced this morning that the ceasefire between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Zionist regime was “imposed” following the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC)’s successful military operation in response to recent U.S. attacks on Iran’s nuclear facilities.
In a statement published today, Iran’s state media declared: “The honorable nation of Iran, through its historic resistance and the successful operation of the IRGC, has imposed a ceasefire on the Zionist enemy and its supporters. The request for a ceasefire by U.S. President Donald Trump came immediately after Iran’s decisive response to recent aggressions.”
The statement emphasized that the enemy’s objectives in the region have been “frustrated” by this operation.
Meanwhile, in the occupied territories, Zionist regime radio reported that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu informed his cabinet about the details of the ceasefire agreement with Iran and instructed them to refrain from making any public statements.
A Zionist media outlet also claimed that Israel has until 7:00 p.m. Tel Aviv time (8:30 p.m. Tehran time) to respond to Iran’s missile attacks. After that, the ceasefire will officially begin.
Reports indicate that the final phase of Iran’s missile strikes was launched toward the occupied territories in the early hours of this morning before the ceasefire took effect. Israeli sources said that heavily advanced missiles—unprecedented in previous attacks—were used in this phase.
Preliminary figures suggest that at least 28 Zionists were killed, and dozens more were wounded in the IRGC’s attacks this morning.
