$2.2 Million Agreement: Aid for Over 230,000 Migrants Across 30 Provinces
DIDPress: A $2.258 million agreement signed with “Vedan Afghanistan” private organization, announced Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation of the Taliban’s caretaker government.

The agreement aims to provide support services to more than 238,000 displaced persons, returning migrants, and host communities across 30 provinces in Afghanistan.
According to the released information, the project includes legal counseling for obtaining civil documents, cash assistance, educational programs, and child protection services in targeted areas.
Provinces such as Kabul, Kandahar, Balkh, Helmand, Badakhshan, Faryab, Bamyan, and Nangarhar are among the regions covered by the program.
The agreement comes amid a growing number of returnees from neighboring countries, which has exacerbated challenges such as housing shortages, unemployment, and pressure on social services—highlighting the urgent need for targeted support.
The primary goal of this collaboration is to improve living conditions and facilitate the social integration of migrants and displaced individuals.
