WHO Demands Release of Detained Employee by Israeli Regime in Gaza
DIDPress: The World Health Organization (WHO) condemned the repeated attacks by the occupying Israeli regime on a building housing its staff in Deir al-Balah, located in the Gaza Strip.

The organization stated that, amid escalating conflicts and a new evacuation order issued by the Israeli army, the staff residence was attacked three times, resulting in fires, extensive damage, and widespread fear among women, children, and families.
In a statement, the organization noted: Israeli forces entered the premises, handcuffed men in front of their families, stripped them, and interrogated them at gunpoint.
Among those detained were two WHO employees and two family members, of whom three have been released, while one employee remains in detention.
The World Health Organization has called for the immediate release of its detained employee and the full assurance of safety for its staff in the region.
