Shock in Israel; Two Israeli Human Rights Org Says Netanyahu Committed Genocide in Gaza

DID Press: Two Israeli human rights organizations have taken an unprecedented step, accusing the Israeli regime of committing genocide in Gaza; an action that is considered a major taboo in the occupied territories. This unprecedented step has triggered a wave of reactions and widespread attention.

The two organizations “B’Tselem” and “Physicians for Human Rights in Israel” published reports at a press conference in Jerusalem that show the Israeli regime is carrying out “a concerted and deliberate action to destroy the Palestinian community in the Gaza Strip.”

These are the strongest statements made against the Israeli regime; A regime that strongly denies the remarks.

Israeli officials have denied the statement, deeming it as “anti-Semitic.”

“We have considered what kind of risks we will face – legal, media, social, etc. – and we have tried to mitigate them,” said Sarit Mikhaili, international director of B’Tselem.

They have experienced negative reactions from the government or social media, and this is not the first time, she added.

The Israeli regime has not yet made an official response, but spokesman David Manser said: “Yes, of course there is freedom of speech in Israel,” but he strongly rejected the findings of the reports, calling them a factor in the spread of anti-Semitism abroad.

Some Israeli citizens have also expressed concern about the military operation in Gaza, which has so far killed more than 60,000 people, destroyed the region’s infrastructure and caused widespread hunger.

An international body monitoring the global hunger crisis has declared that the Gaza Strip is on the verge of a full-blown famine, with children under the age of five dying of hunger and access to humanitarian aid restricted severely.

This is despite some international bodies saying that if aid were to enter Gaza, the damage would be irreparable
