Pezeshkian: Brotherhood Among Islamic Countries Beyond Political Ties

DID Press: Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, during his visit to Pakistan, reaffirmed the importance of brotherhood and cooperation among Islamic countries, saying “brotherhood among Islamic countries goes beyond political relations.

“As neighboring countries, we share an intertwined culture that can help strengthen bilateral relations and cooperation,” he added.

The Iranian President also referred to his visit to the mausoleum of Allama Muhammad Iqbal, saying: “Upon arriving in Pakistan, I visited his mausoleum to recite Fatiha and to place special emphasis on enhancing cultural interactions.”

He described Iqbal’s poetry and ideas as symbols of Islamic unity and stressed the importance of utilizing this cultural asset to strengthen ties between the two countries.

The remarks by the Iranian President reflect ongoing efforts to build cultural and social bonds among Islamic countries and highlight the importance of regional cooperation in pursuit of common interests
