Local Initiative Boosts Girls’ Education in Daikundi
DID Press: Residents of Daikundi province have established a girls’ school in Ghasur village, funded entirely through local contributions totaling six million Afghanis.

At the opening ceremony, Daikundi Deputy Governor Ehsanullah Rahmatyar praised the community’s initiative, calling it a source of pride for Afghanistan.
Rahmatyar stressed that, despite limited resources, local residents are committed to supporting the education of their children. He said the school could serve as a model for other regions.
He further pledged that the provincial administration would work to improve the school’s facilities. He also welcomed any assistance aimed at enhancing educational standards in the area.
