Caretaker Government Launches Oversight of Private Health Centers
DID Press: Ministry of Public Health of Afghanistan’s caretaker government has launched an official inspection campaign targeting private health facilities across the country. The initiative aims to verify the qualifications and documentation of medical personnel, under the direction of the national Medical Council.

The inspections are being conducted by a committee led by Dr. Faqir Mohammad Ziar, Director General of the Medical Council at the Ministry of Public Health.
According to ministry officials, the review focuses on examining academic credentials, work licenses, and residency permits of both Afghanistani and foreign healthcare workers employed in private medical institutions.
The ministry warned that any violations or unlawful activities uncovered during the inspections will result in strict legal measures against the individuals or institutions involved
