Afghanistan Launches New Program to Send Legal Workers to Qatar

DID Press: Afghanistan’s Caretaker Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs has opened registration for a new phase of legal labor deployment to Qatar, offering 1,800 jobs across 23 specialized and semi-specialized professions.

The ministry said the opportunities align with the current needs of Qatar’s labor market. Registration begins Wednesday and is open to residents of Kabul, Nangarhar, Kandahar, and Herat provinces.

Officials stressed that all deployments will be carried out through legal and official channels. Interested applicants must register either at the ministry’s offices or via the designated website.

According to the ministry, technical cooperation with Qatari authorities is already in place to streamline the process. Oversight measures have also been established to ensure transparency and fairness in candidate selection.
