Hamas, Arab World Condemn Netanyahu’s ‘Greater Israel’ Vision
DID Press: Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu has sparked outrage across the Arab world after declaring his “emotional attachment” to the vision of a “Greater Israel” and voicing support for the “voluntary migration” of Gaza’s residents. Netanyahu described the initiative as a step toward a military campaign against the remaining “enemy,” saying he is in discussions with several countries to resettle Palestinians.

In a parallel move, Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich approved the construction of 3,401 new housing units near the settlement of Ma’ale Adumim in the occupied West Bank. He is expected to present the controversial “E1” plan on Thursday — a proposal he claims will “bury the idea of a Palestinian state forever.” The development would also sever road link between Ramallah and Bethlehem.
Hamas political bureau member Izzat al-Rishq condemned Netanyahu’s remarks and policies as a “dangerous delusion,” saying Netanyahu, his party, and his political base form the heart of Israel’s far-right Zionist movement, which — with unwavering U.S. backing — aims to seize Arab and Islamic lands.
Arab activists and social media users likewise denounced Netanyahu’s remarks and the E1 project, deeming them a direct threat to regional stability. Many also criticized Arab governments as they are pushing to disarm Palestinian resistance groups
