Afghan Caretaker Government Reportedly Paying $43,000 to TTP Leader Monthly
DID Press: Taliban Caretaker government is paying a monthly stipend of US $43,000 (approximately three million Afghanis) to the family of Noor Wali Mahsud, the leader of Tahrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), reported Pakistani media, including Dawn newspaper.

According to the reports, Taliban careaker government not only provides safe havens for TTP members but also finances the group. The funds are said to be used for procuring weapons, developing infrastructure, and carrying out multi-stage militant operations.
Pakistani outlets claim that over the past two years, TTP has established training and recruitment centers in Afghanistan’s Kunar, Nangarhar, Paktika, and Khost provinces. These facilities reportedly provide ideological indoctrination, weapons training, and logistical planning.
The reports further allege that some newly recruited fighters — including Afghan Taliban members — are dispatched to Pakistan, where, following training, they take part in suicide bombings and ambush operations on Pakistani soil.
The Taliban caretaker government has not yet responded to these allegations. However, it has repeatedly denied any support to Tahrik-i-Taliban Pakistan.
