Imran Khan Condemns Afghanistani Refugees Deportation as ‘Against Islam and Humanity’

DID Press: Former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan on Wednesday sharply criticized the government’s policy of expelling Afghanistani refugees, saying it violates both Islamic principles and humanitarian norms.

In a statement posted on X social media platform, Khan said he was “ashamed” of the treatment of Afghanistani refugees by Pakistani authorities.

“Afghanistani refugees are our Muslim brothers who sought safety and peace in our country,” Khan wrote. “Expelling them in this manner not only goes against Islamic tradition but also breaches basic human values.”

Khan’s comments come amid growing tensions in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, two states that have recently witnessed an increase in ethnic violence and security incidents.
