SCO Condemns US and Israeli Attacks on Iran
DID Press: In the final statement of the 25th Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit in Tianjin, China, member states strongly condemned the U.S. and Israeli military strikes on Iran’s civilian facilities in June 2025, describing them as a clear violation of international law. The statement emphasized the need to ensure the safety and protection of Iran’s nuclear facilities.

Iranian President Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian considered the attacks an example of the international community’s failure to maintain global peace and security, describing the SCO as a symbol of cooperation and peaceful engagement in a world full of crises.
During the summit, SCO leaders signed more than 20 documents and declarations on various areas of cooperation, reaffirming their support for the rule of international law and opposing unilateral actions that threaten regional security.
