Kim Jong Un’s First International Appearance after 20-Hour Train Journey
DID Press: North Korean leader Kim Jong Un traveled to Beijing to attend the 80th anniversary of China’s victory over Japan in World War II.

According to North Korea’s official news agency (KCNA), Kim left Pyongyang for Beijing by train, accompanied by a high-level delegation from the Workers’ Party, including Foreign Minister Choe Son-hui.
He is expected to participate in special Victory Day celebrations in the Chinese capital.
Reports indicate that Kim departed Pyongyang around noon local time (03:00 GMT). The train journey from Pyongyang to Beijing takes approximately 20 to 24 hours, marking Kim’s first participation in a multilateral event.
China’s Victory Day celebrations are scheduled for September 3, as Russian President Vladimir Putin and leaders of several other nations also set to attend the V day.
