SCO Wants Inclusive and Neutral Government in Afghanistan

DID Press: Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) called for the formation of an inclusive government in Afghanistan.

In a joint statement, SCO expressed support for international efforts to ensure peace and development in Afghanistan and emphasized the need for a neutral, independent government free from extremism.

SCO members also highlighted the importance of broad representation of ethnic groups and political factions within Afghanistan’s governing structure, noting the inefficiency of the current administration.
