Afghanistan National Statistics Delegation Visits Iran

DID Press: A delegation from Afghanistan’s National Statistics and Information Authority has traveled to Tehran to address issues related to the registration and verification of Afghanistan citizens residing in the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The National Statistics and Information Authority said the delegation trip aims to facilitate the process of documenting Afghanistan migrants in Iran and to complete the operational requirements of the team assigned there.

The identity verification process for Afghanistan nationals in Iran remains one of the major challenges for migrants seeking electronic ID cards and passports.
