Total Lunar Eclipse on Sunday Night: Afghanistan to Witness Rare Celestial Event
DID Press: Skies over Afghanistan will showcase a total lunar eclipse on Sunday evening, September 6, a rare celestial phenomenon visible across much of Asia.

The eclipse will begin at 7:58 p.m. local time and continue until the early hours of Monday. During the event, the Moon will pass fully into Earth’s shadow, turning a deep red hue commonly referred to as a “blood moon.”
According to NASA’s timetable, the eclipse will reach its peak at 10:41 p.m.
The spectacle will be visible not only in Afghanistan but also across wide parts of Asia, Africa, Europe, and Australia.
