PTI Denounces Terrorism Charges against Imran Khan’s Sister

DID Press: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party strongly rejected terrorism charges filed against Alima Khan, sister of former Prime Minister Imran Khan, saying it is “fabricated” and part of a politically motivated revenge campaign.

The party condemned the sudden addition of terrorism-related clauses to Alima Khan’s case, which, according to Pakistani media, occurred overnight, sparking PTI’s strong protests.

A party spokesperson said the case is “not only legally baseless, but clearly demonstrates misuse of the judicial system to pressure Imran Khan’s family and his supporters.”

PTI emphasized that Alima Khan has not engaged in any activities outside the law and is being targeted solely for her public support of her brother.

The party called on authorities to withdraw the charges and ensure the judicial process is free from political manipulation.
