Afghanistan Organic Products Set to Enter Indian Markets
DID Press: An Indian trading company expressed readiness to purchase Afghanistan agricultural products, including saffron, fresh fruits, dried fruits, and medicinal plants, officials said.

During a meeting between R.C. International’s chairman and Mawlawi Sadr Azam Usmani, Deputy Minister for Agriculture and Livestock of Afghanistan, the Indian side emphasized its interest in importing high-quality Afghanistan production.
The company’s chairman noted that Afghanistan organic and natural products enjoy strong potential in India’s markets. “Afghanistan products will find a good position in Indian markets, and we are ready to purchase these items directly and distribute them across India,” he said.
Welcoming the proposal, Deputy Minister Usmani stressed that Afghanistan agricultural goods are not only organic and natural but also capable of competing in global markets. He added that the Ministry of Agriculture supports joint cooperation with foreign companies and is prepared to facilitate exports and encourage investment opportunities.
