Luxembourg Recognizes State of Palestine amid Gaza Humanitarian Crisis

DID Press: Amid worsening humanitarian crisis in Gaza, Luxembourg has announced its formal recognition of the State of Palestine.

The decision comes as UN experts warn of a looming economic catastrophe caused by Israel’s ongoing attacks on Gaza.

Recently, UN General Assembly also adopted a resolution supporting Palestine’s recognition and advancing two-state solution.

With this move, Luxembourg joins the ranks of countries such as Canada that have recognized Palestine.
