Mujahid to Pakistan: Dialogue is Solution, Not Force or Accusations

DID Press: Zabihullah Mujahid, spokesperson for the Taliban caretaker government, has responded to recent statements by Pakistani officials, emphasizing that escalating tensions, using force, and leveling accusations benefit neither country. He stressed that Kabul seeks fraternal relations with Islamabad, free from insecurity.

Speaking to the Pakistan Security Studies Center, Mujahid said all disputes should be resolved through dialogue. His remarks come a day after Pakistan’s defense minister again claimed that Afghanistan soil is being used against Islamabad.

Separately, Shafqat Ali Khan, spokesperson for Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, recently said that Kabul must choose between Pakistan and Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).

Afghan authorities have not officially responded to these latest statements but have repeatedly stressed that Afghanistan territory will not be used against any country and that no terrorist groups are operating from within Afghanistan.
