Iran and Afghanistan Strengthen Scientific, Elite Tourism Cooperation

DID Press: Continuing efforts to expand scientific and cultural interactions between Iran and Afghanistan, Iran’s Cultural Attaché in Kabul and the leadership of “Afghan Event” and “Afghan Travel” companies have reached an agreement to collaborate on the organization of first specialized “Afghan Science” exhibition and the launch of elite tourism tours between the two countries.

Dr. Sayed Rouhollah Hussaini, Iran’s Cultural Attaché in Kabul, and the leadership of the specialized “Afghan Event” and “Afghan Travel,” group of companies discussed national and international significance of the specialized “Afghan Science” exhibition as well as the importance of participation by Iranian scientific institutions, universities, and knowledge-based companies in the event.

Proposals were also put forward to hold joint scientific and cultural events, strengthen connections between the scientific and elite communities of Iran and Afghanistan, and organize special elite tourism tours, which are planned to be implemented through joint coordination.

The first specialized “Afghan Science” exhibition, focusing on science, education, academia, innovation, and knowledge-based industries, will soon be held at Afghanistan International Exhibition Center in Kabul.
