Erdoğan Urges Taliban to Uphold Human Values and Rights of All Groups

DID Press: Speaking at the 80th UN General Assembly, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, emphasized that Ankara will continue to stand by the people of Afghanistan.

Highlighting the importance of adhering to humanitarian and social principles, Erdoğan called on the Taliban caretaker government to consider all segments of society in governing the country.

He also warned that international community should not abandon the people of Afghanistan and reaffirmed Turkey’s commitment to ongoing support for the nation’s citizens.
