Kremlin Responds to Trump: Russia Is Bear, Not ‘Paper Tiger’

DID Press: Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov reacted to comments made by U.S. President Donald Trump following his meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on the sidelines of UN General Assembly.

Trump on his Truth Social page described Russia as a “paper tiger” and claimed Putin and Russia are facing a major economic dilemma, while Ukraine, backed by Europe and NATO, can reclaim lost territories.

Peskov rejected the assertion, saying: “Russia is a bear, and there is no paper bear.”

Trump also said that the United States will continue supplying weapons to its allies to ensure NATO can carry out its desired actions.
