All Afghanistani Refugees Should Return Home, says Pakistan

DID Press: Pakistan’s Defense Minister, Khawaja Muhammad Asif, said that all Afghanistani refugees should return to their country, claiming their presence in Pakistan has created security problems and that terrorist operations are being launched from Afghanistan soil against Pakistan.

Asif said Islamabad has repeatedly urged Taliban caretaker government to take serious action against terrorist groups.

However, many Afghanistani migrants have neither homes to return to nor safe conditions in Afghanistan, meaning forced deportations can have significant humanitarian and human rights consequences.
