Over 45 Ships in “Al-Sumoud” Fleet Approaching Gaza

DID Press: International Committee to Break the Siege of Gaza has announced the departure of the large “Al-Sumoud” (Steadfastness) fleet, a convoy of more than 45 ships currently located north of Egypt’s Mersa Matruh Port, approximately 665 kilometers from Gaza’s coast.

According to Al-Alam News Network, the committee said the fleet is sailing toward Gaza Strip and is expected to reach the enclave’s shores within the next three days.

The statement added that Al-Sumoud maritime convoy aims to deliver a message of global solidarity and to challenge the longstanding blockade of Gaza.
