DID Press: Israeli ambassador to India has stated that the recent military agreement between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia does not pose any threat to Israel.
Reuven Azar, Israel’s ambassador in New Delhi, emphasized that the defense pact between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia is not a matter of concern for Israel, noting that Saudi Arabia has never been the target of any Israeli attack.
Azar added that Riyadh’s primary goal in the agreement is to obtain security assurances from Pakistan, clarifying that the deal has no connection to threats against Israel from India.
He further said that the military cooperation aims to strengthen Saudi Arabia’s security and counter regional threats, stressing that Israel has no particular concerns about the development.
