Afghanistan–Pakistan Reopen Angoor Ada Border Crossing After 2 Year Closure

DID Press: Angoor Ada border crossing between Afghanistan and Pakistan has officially reopened after two years of closure.

Local officials confirmed that alongside the reopening of the crossing, the terminal of the National Logistics Organization has also resumed operations.

The reopening is expected to ease transit challenges and facilitate trade between the two neighboring countries. Authorities said that the resumption of activities at the Angoor Ada border post provides a valuable opportunity for residents of border regions and could have a positive impact on local economic development.

Pakistani local sources anticipate that trade volumes between Afghanistan and Pakistan will rise in the coming weeks following the reopening.
