Afghanistan, Kazakhstan Seek to Boost Trade to $3 Billion

DID Press: Afghanistan and Kazakhstan have held talks aimed at expanding bilateral trade to $3 billion, according to the Taliban government’s Ministry of Industry and Commerce.

The ministry said that during a meeting with officials from Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Transport and Industry, both sides discussed ways to strengthen trade cooperation.

The discussions focused on increasing the volume of bilateral trade to $3 billion and enhancing economic ties, particularly in the areas of transport, exports, and imports.

Officials described the initiative as part of Afghan government’s broader strategy to develop regional economic relations and improve access to foreign markets.
